It was the first time that she was able to be alone, away from her siblings, friends and family. She found herself sitting outside of Cava. She’d been out for a few days.
The memory of the battle rushed through her mind, the hit she’d taken knocking her down, she vaguely remembered seeing a blue flash before she was completely knocked out. From what she’d been told it was a miracle she had survived and Alicia believed it. Her body was still sore, she didn’t share that small detail though. All the bruises and breaks and shattered arm were back to normal. She’d agreed to the healing because of the match the next day.
The news that Elle and Callie had both died broke her heart, she’d managed to hold in tears and stayed strong for her siblings and those close to Elle and Callie. The only time she finally started to cry was when Erik came in alone and sat down next to her. Allowing her once again to let go of the pain inside her and supporting her with no questions asked.
She’d had a chance to find a way to say goodbye to Callie, but Elle was another matter. Elle had wanted her dead, and once again Alicia walked away and Elle was the one that didn’t make it. She looked up at the sky and blinked away tears as she held up a glass of a fantastic Barolo.
“You bitch!” Alicia started. “I hated you.” She grumbled. “Hated you, hated the way you treated people, hated the way you used Emilia, used everyone in our family.” She blinked furiously trying not to cry too hard. “And I miss you.” She whispered her voice breaking.
“I’m glad you came to Atlantis, I’m really glad we had Breckentale, and we…” She swallowed. “Became sisters.” They really had become sisters. There was still always a piece of both of them that didn’t fully relax, but they bonded, they got each other a lot better than either one had wanted to admit to. They were much more similar than either wanted to admit.
“Thanks for being my sister,” she held the glass high again pouring out a sip to the ground before taking a sip herself. “Don’t tell anyone, but I’m really going to miss you. Hell, came to love you.” Alicia couldn’t hold the tears in anymore.
