The moment the familiar face stepped into the room and hugged her, Madi felt a little more at ease. She hugged Clarke back, not at all surprised to know that she was here when there was a war to be fought. Of course this place would want Clarke. If they wanted something to be done, Clarke was the right person in this situation. Her arms hugged Clarke back, a little confused since they had only just seen each other, but she went with it anyway. “You sound like we haven't seen each other for years,” teased Madi softly, not yet pulling back. She did meet Clarke's eyes, though, searching in her own way. Clarke looked, well, different. She couldn't quite put what it was, but there was something different about her.
“So you found your way here too, then? I mean, it can't be that bad of a war. Look at this place!” Madi remarked, surprise in her voice. She had never seen a house like this one before, so even having the comfort of a soft place to sleep was still relatively new to her. But, Madi knew she came here for a reason now, so she was going to uphold that legacy to the best of her ability. “So, are the others here, too? Bellamy? Echo? Octavia?” Madi was curious about Clarke's friends because they were her family, of course. She also wanted to know about Octavia, because she admired the woman for her strength
