Leo, being who he was, listened to everything that they had to say. He might not accept it as truth but he was raised right. And thus that meant being an attentive listener. However, that only lasted until he saw a very familiar face.
Emilia Spinnet had already been in intake dropping off a batch of English Toffee Bites that she’d baked earlier when she got the alert and turned to spot the very familiar face just as an equally familiar voice called out for her.
“Oy! It took you long enough,” he said jumping out of his seat and closing the distance between them. “Any longer and I might have grown a beard to rival ole Dumbles.”
A bright grin lit up Emilia’s face as she had a split second to take in the fact that he looked the right bloody age this time and that he was back. For how long, it was always hard to say, when he’d come and gone 3 times now, but the important thing was that he was here. Her quick scrutiny of him was put on hold for a warm hug. The younger Spinnet wrapped her arms around her Irish Twin.
“You should talk,” she murmured with eyes closed and trying to fight off tears. “It’s about bloody time you came back!”
“Awww, Emikins, did you miss me?” Leo said after pulling away from their hug and noticing how emotional his Irish Twin was. “...wait... did you say back? Have you been inhaling your baking ingredients again?”
“Yes, I said back, you prat! You’ve come and gone three times now!” Emilia didn’t lose her temper often and she wasn’t truly angry right now, but she was frustrated with the way he never seemed to stick around Atlantis for very long. The last time he’d been here, it had been hard to connect, too, with him being so much older than her. This time, at least, he seemed closer to the proper age.
“Well, those tossers were quite clearly imposters. I’d never leave you behind!” Leo had many questions regarding his previous stays in Atlantis. Like, when were these three visits, how long was he there each time and also what did he get up to. But now was simply not the time. Right now he needed to calm his sister down before she really lost her temper.
Emilia just rolled her eyes. “Come on, you git,” she said, “let’s get out of here. I’ll show you around Atlantis.” She wasn’t really angry, after all, and she couldn’t very well hold what he couldn’t remember against him. She’d give him an tour and drag everyone out to celebrate the whole family being here again. There was no telling how long it would last this time, so she was going to spend as much time as she could with Leo in the meantime.
