The newly crowned God of Stories, here to assist in the saving of the entirety of creativity - Loki had to admit, they'd chosen rather well in bringing him here. He was ever the magpie for shiny items (damn Ikol to Hel) and had gravitated towards it as soon as he'd seen it, envisioning something sweet and sugary in his future. Nope. A stark white room with a hologram informing him of the danger they were in and what Loki had been brought to do, which made him grin. What was another go around, anyway?
He pulled on his boots, his coat and tapped at the broken horn of his crown as he looked in the mirror, but...he rather liked it. Maybe it was some kind of significant detail about him being Loki but not the Loki they expected and not the villain of their stories - but his memory was still a muddle he needed to untangle, so perhaps this Atlantis would be a welcome break for him. Somewhere he could sit and think for a moment without the world collapsing for five minutes. That would indeed be pleasant, would it not? He left the house he'd been assigned to and pushed his hands in his pockets as he strolled down the fairway, glancing in the direction of the shops. It was...quaint. It really didn't live up to New York City but Loki had always been one for bustling streets and somewhere he could blend into the crowd and stand out all at the same time - this was different. He could already see all of the stories around him and he could see that he wasn't the main character in this one, which again - was a relief. Nobody was and yet everybody was in a sense of the word and he rubbed his head, trying to clear his mind of this confusion. "Gods," he murmured, taking himself to a coffee shop named Snoozle. A ridiculous name for somewhere that sold caffeine which Loki was fairly sure had earned the title of ambrosia by now. "Latte, please. Five shots and a shot of syrup- uh, surprise me on the syrup," he added thoughtfully, collecting his cup at the end of the counter and sitting in a sofa in the corner. People-watching. The best way to learn about a place. |
