Lucifer had been sleeping perfectly fine until a giant rugrat jumped onto his bed and on parts that did not need to be jumped on. “Bloody hell!” That was not how he wanted to wake up. And he definitely didn’t want to get stomped on again either, so he grabbed the second pillow and used that to protect him, but then he thought about it and decided to just roll over onto his stomach. Now she couldn’t do anything, well, she could, but at least it wouldn’t hurt as much if she did.
“I wish,” he muttered, wishing Trixie would get off of his bed. “Good for you!”
He seriously wanted to knock her off of the bed, but he also didn’t want to piss of Chloe. It was too early to piss her off. All he had wanted to do was sleep. Maybe if he closed his eyes and ignored the pair of them he could do just that. “Only if you’re buying breakfast.”
