Hera had settled into a routine since she'd decided to stay in Atlantis. She'd never really been one for routine before but there was something about being thrown into her own past that made her want to take things a bit slower than she had before. She'd gotten herself a steady job working in Intake and it meant that she was often the first person anyone saw when they showed up here. Just why she'd picked to work in Intake she wasn't sure but it had made some kind of sense to her.
It had been another routine day and she was walking home without a care in the world. The rain didn't really bother her, her umbrella kept the worst of it off her and she was in her own world as she walked along the street. She may have been distracted by thoughts of what she was going to do later that night, she had nothing planned but her mind was wandering over the possibilities.
She was distracted enough that she didn't see someone step out of the art store and right into her. Hera found herself a little unbalanced but at least managed to stay on her feet, the same could not be said of the woman who had bumped straight into her. "Oh, it's okay," she said, glancing down and seeing the paint on her jacket. She frowned a little even as she offered a hand to the woman on her ass on the ground. "How did what happen? If you mean how did we collide it was probably because neither of us was looking where we were going. Are you okay?"
When they'd bumped into each other Hera had dropped her umbrella, the rain now hitting her head and starting to soak into her clothes.
