For the last three days Clark had been missing in action. He hadn't been to work, he hadn't been at the farm, he hadn't been at his apartment and... well she didn't know if he was in the Antarctic becuase she couldn't actually go there. The point was that for the last three days she'd been waiting for him to do something and instead he'd just disappeared. While the man had had his depressions before this was getting rediculous, and speaking to Martha Kent hadn't helped Lois' mood at all. She'd had to go through a military detail just to speak with her on the phone.
There really was only one place she thought he could be, and she wasn't even supposed to know about it. She'd had to enlist Jimmy's help to distract the people who she knew were watching her in order to make it to the rendevous point to get up there. And once she was there, she understood why the government was iffy. She would be too. Apparanthy this thing was decommissioned, but who knew for sure?
Her shoes left noises on the metal floor as she made her way through the place. She was thankful that she'd gotten an assist from a friend on this one. Apparantly they were just as worried about him. And at least up here there weren't any SHIELD personnel.
He was staring out the window, longingly. And admittedly, Lois found this a bit of a downer. Admittedly she was the one with more fight but this? This was... actually it was a bit pathetic. When the world got you down you fought back, you didn't mope. "Pouting into a window isn't going to help anyone at this point, Smallville," she stood in the doorway with her arms crossed, clearly not happy. If he needed a peptalk, then she'd give one. He might not like it but she'd give him one.
