penelope leaned to the side when the gentlemen didn't turn around. then she thought it silly. clearly he was hurt. she moved around to his field of view when he requested it. she shifted, walking in a bit of a sidestep until she moved around in front of him.
she took a moment to regard him. he was tall, mostly everyone was taller than she was so that didn't hold any sway over her. he had what could only be described as a stern face, but it wasn't unpleasant. he seemed a very put together gentlemen and one that didn't like to appear helpless, although not many men did.
she gave him a sort of nervous smile and a little bob of a curtsy. "sorry, sir. is that better? are you hurt?" she asked, she'd noticed him favoring his foot and she glanced down worriedly. when she looked back up at him her face was set with a smile and determination. "while i do not have a walking stick, or the stature needed to be support for you, i believe i have a solution." and with that she proudly closed her parasol and held it out for him. "your crutch, sir." she proclaimed.
