Though Jane did look confused at the mention of travelling light, and near shock at her employer's suggestion. That charming smile and offer together left Jane blushing, and lost for words. "Mr. Rochester, that is not necessary!" Jane tried to protest. What would she need with a new wardrobe, as the governess? She certainly couldn't afford the wardrobe on her own, and that would mean Mr. Rochester would be the one to pay for it all. She certainly couldn't take it with her if she were ever to leave.
