As a general rule, Mikhael tried not to think too much about his former life in the Valley. He'd been weak then, just a poor fool for everyone to heap abuse upon.
"It has been a long time since the Valley" he said, feigning amusement. "I hardly remember the ins and outs of demonology."
He leaned back into the couch, thinking about the idea of being able to pull thoughts from another person's mind. Oh the pain he could cause, the delicious agony. Th voices began whispering louder, more fervently at that thought. They liked that idea, very much indeed.
