Francis wasn't entirely sure why he'd insisted on speaking to Mikhael this evening. It wasn't as if he enjoyed the other vampire's company. But, he'd meant to ask the former monk about the two other 'vampires' he'd met upon his arrival here, and had not yet had the chance. And now, finding no trace of either Armand or Lestat, he'd grown worried. If they had indeed been Mikhael's creations, and they were now loose, he had to go after them. He had a duty to do so. If they were other creatures entirely...well, it would be best Mikhael knew about them, in case they returned.
He walked through the doors into the lobby of Building C, eyes drifting automatically to the couches. He always knew where to find Mikhael somehow. His eyes narrowed at the man's lazy attitude. "Mikhael," he said tersely, his usual greeting for the man who was once his friend. Francis crossed the room in long strides, sliding onto a couch opposite the other vampire. Unlike Mikhael, Francis chose not to lounge, instead sitting up straight and leaning forward slightly to face the other, all business.
"Were you aware there were other vampires here?" Straight to the point as always. Dealing with Mikhael, he never felt he could afford to be anything but.
