He could help her. Right. This was ridiculous. All of it. Why would Silas even want to help her? Bonnie would be the one person who would somehow put Silas away for good and yet here he was, sitting on a park bench with her, telling her that he could help her. She felt like this was a trick somehow. That Silas of course, wasn't doing this out of the kindness of his heart, if he even had one.
"I remember, Silas. The thing is, I don't understand why you would even want to help me," she said honestly as she looked at him, regarding him. He seemed serious but Silas, just as much as he was an immortal, or a witch - he was also an actor. He could fake it with the best of them and Bonnie just didn't trust it. At least she didn't want to.
"I'm getting help, but ..." She shook her head. "I don't know. I think it's too much to ask at this point." The more she sat here, the more she just started to not care that the person she was talking to was Silas. It seemed easy to talk to him in a way, but that didn't mean that the trust was there. There was no trust. She would feel like an idiot if she accepted, only to be screwed over and agreeing to Silas about anything would make her feel like she was making the biggest mistake in the world. She was so judgmental of other people, but especially herself. She was harder on herself than anyone.
"You don't owe me anything. I lied to you. I sent you to your permanent death. I can't believe you'd want to help me after that."
