Damien was surprised at that sort of reaction. It wasn't one he had been particularly used to back home, all he had was himself. And his followers, but that wasn't the same as a family. This was so much different than the foster families he had been with too. And now, both Christina and Lucifer had been sent away, so now it was just the two of them left. He had lived so many years of his life alone and he was grateful that being here changed that up a bit.
"Great to see you too," he said with a smile as he hugged her back in return. He paused and did indeed notice the breaking of a light bulb. "Umm.. maybe? Possibly you or me, but I'd say it's both."
The worker had come out to investigate it, but Damien held up an assuring hand as he looked in their eyes and spoke calmly, "Everything is fine, return to your work." There was a moment of confusion in the other person, before nodding and going back to the stockroom.
Damien stepped back from Cady now, smirking. "Uhh.. yeah. I can also do that too." He laughed. "So. Anyway, I'm actually just here on a whim, to get a book or two for my reading hobby when bored. But now that I know you work here, I'll visit this store more often."
