"Yes." Lexa answered. She would keep going until she couldn't go any further. She would fight until she couldn't fight any more. She would avenge Clarke with her last breath. So the pain she was feeling right now was nothing, because she was at war and until that war was won, nothing would keep her from the battle. Faith's words, telling her this monster wasn't real, that none of it could hurt her if she remembered that. She wasn't sure if it was true, but it was good advice to help them both.
Faith helped her to her feed and she looked around at the walls of her beloved throne room, oozing with blood. Red blood. She had been through her fair share of battles, this wasn't enough to shake her. She'd watched her people, good warriors, turned into Reapers by the Mountain Men. She'd had the head of her lover delivered to her own bed, the bed they'd shared, by the Queen of Azgeda. This Freddy was an amateur compared to the things Lexa had lived through, the things she'd seen, even the things she'd done herself. She didn't carry the kill marks like her warriors did because her back simply wasn't big enough to hold them all. Clarke had been the same, after she'd brought down the Mountain.
The guy on the network had said the glove. It had to be the one on his hand, the one he'd sliced her back with. That had to be the glove they were talking about. "Faith, wait..." Lexa started to say, but Faith was already running off, taunting Freddy. Lexa knew this building inside and out and she would circle around to the other side. Faith could distract him and Lexa would have the element of surprise.
Gripping her remaining sword since Faith took the other, Lexa moved quietly through the circular building. She could hear sounds of a scuffle and Faith's taunts. She came around the corner, meeting Faith's eyes as she moved in behind him. Lexa nodded her head towards the glove of knives covering his hand. Faith seemed to get it, because she moved just as Lexa got into position, making Freddy turn in that direction. Lexa spun around, swinging her sword and hitting him in just the right spot to cut his hand off. Leaning down, Lexa grabbed the glove, wrinkling her nose as she picked it up and putting it on.
It felt strange on her hand, but it would serve its purpose. Lexa lifted her green eyes to see what looked like fear in Freddy's eyes. "Jus drein jus daun." She said, pulling her arm back and spreading the fingers wide before shoving it hard into his stomach.
