Faith grabbed one of Lexa's swords out of her hands and took a hearty swift swing. But Freddy was faster than Faith and he disappeared again. There were screams in the distance and they seemed familiar as Faith took a look at Lexa's back.
"Can you keep going?" she asked. She had no idea what Lexa was exactly or if she had any powers to heal here in Freddy's nightmarescape. It didn't matter because Faith knew one thing to be true.
"It's not real," she said. "None of it is real, just remember that. It can't hurt if it's not real." Faith had no idea of the psychobabble shit she was saying was actually true. Thinking wasn't exactly one of Faith's strong suits but she knew that she had to get Lexa up and moving somehow.
"Come on." She helped Lexa up to her feet and the walls began to drip with blood. More screams in the distance, eerily familiar that even Faith got the creeps and it was hard to spook a murderer.
"What'd that guy on the network say? He said it was his glove, right? So you find it. You find the glove and I'll distract Freddy."
Faith wasn't exactly sure how she could distract Freddy. She was less sure about her abilities to do so and not die. But she was put here in this position for a reason and Faith was never one to back down from a fight.
"Just go."
She pushed Lexa away from her. "Just figure it out. You're in his mind just as much as he's in ours. Figure it out."
Then she turned and ran in the opposite direction, trying to get far enough away to get Freddy's attention. "Hey, Freddy you bitch!" Faith yelled. "Come and get me!" She just hoped that wherever Lexa was, she was close to a glove or some kind of solution.
