Before Faith could even express condolences about the dead girlfriend Lexa was already striding ahead of her. Damn. There was a girl who knew how to get shit done and Faith liked that about her already. Whether she would like the rest remained to be seen. But Faith could work with whoever, it didn't matter. It was probably better she didn't know Lexa so if Freddy killed her, she wouldn't care that much. Although, Faith knew she would care anyway.
"Lexa?" Clarke's voiced filled up the room and both Faith and Lexa turned to face another girl. Faith was sure she had seen her somewhere but one skinny ass blonde looked like the next to her. Faith glanced over at Lexa. "That the girlfriend?"
Faith didn't trust it and why should she? They were on someone else's playground right now. He was calling the shots and Faith didn't know what that might entail.
"Hey, I dunno if that's the real her," Faith said in a low voice to Lexa.
"Lexa, thank God you're here. I thought you were dead." Clarke's eyes filled with tears and she rushed towards Lexa and threw her arms around her.
Faith watched the touching reunion for about three seconds before she was inclined to interrupt.
"It ain't her," Faith insisted. She grabbed Clarke's arm and pulled her off of Lexa just as Freddy revealed himself in Clarke's place. His eyes were ghoulish, his face burned and peeled. His steel claws swiped dangerously close to Lexa's face.
"And that's a stupid ass sweater. What kinda villain wears a hat like that?" Faith frowned. "You should be fired because that shit ain't scary."
What was scary was Freddy's impressive body count but Faith had her own impressive body count. She could hold her own.
"You think you're so big and bad?" Freddy asked as he walked towards Faith. She looked up and met Lexa's eyes before she kicked Freddy in the stomach. It should have sent him staggering back into the wall but instead he just disappeared.
"Where'd he go?" Faith was looking all over the place but could see no sign of him.
