who scott and kira what finally talking over pizza where kira's apartment when 7pm, aka pizza time status/rating ongoing and probs low warnings none
Ever since talking with Theo she had been doing her best not to talk to Scott. That reaction was not mature and she knew that, but she couldn't help herself. Kira had talked with Lydia about her concerns and that had helped some. The banshee had been delighted to get manicures and pedicures while doing girl talk. Kira normally wasn't one for that type of thing, but it had been kind of nice. She liked Lydia and their friendship was really shaping up. Actually since arriving in Salem Kira was really branching out about who she was talking with. The result was she was able to feel like a normal teenage girl every now and then.
Going on the run with Theo had helped her learn a little more about her powers. That moment she hadn't minded being a kitsune so much. Actually the whole evening with the chimera had been fun, minus the injuries of course.
Those were things she was going to try not to tell Scott while they shared pizza together. Just the thought of talking with Scott made her nervous. She paced back and forth in the living room, her gaze kept going to the doorway. Any moment now her; well she didn't know what he was anymore, Scott was going to be knocking on the door. They'd have some conversations and then eat pizza; perfectly fun. This evening was going to be awkward and she was resigned to that.
Could she do this?
Yes she could do this! Hayden was right, they were not victims! She could talk with Scott and there would be no problems. Kira began to chew on the side of her thumb as she gave herself that mental pep talk. Her foot caught on the rug and she started to stumble, but at the last moment she managed to regain her balance. Well, this was already off to a great start and she hadn't even interacted face to face with Scott yet.
The knock at the door caused her to stop in her pacing and she slowly turned to face the door. Oh God! This was it! She breathed in loudly before exhaling slowly. Okay, calm thoughts. Her hands came up and she smacked her cheeks to help her get up the courage. The pain helped her calm her panicked thoughts and she made her way to the door. She yanked the door open and awaited her fate.
