Adam had his own natural charm about him. That's what a lot of people said back home and it was what attracted Diana to him in the first place. Adam was just nice. The typical nice boy next door. Not too shy. A little outgoing. It wasn't really him trying to pick up on flirting. Adam was very much involved with Melissa and he wasn't like Nick Armstrong who cooed and wanted to have sex with any pair of legs.
He liked Davina as a friend. She seemed to know her stuff when it came to magic and he wanted someone's opinion outside of the circle. Adam could have easily asked Melissa or even Faye but no, he wanted someone who had their own sense of magic. Who could give Adam ideas that were outside of his comfort zone when it came to spellcasting.
Adam had zero ideas. He also didn't know that Davina was without her magic. It was a little sad that the two lost touch but Adam was hoping to fix that by getting the help he needed. Adam just hoped that Davina had the time and the knowledge to assist. While it wasn't complex it would take some thinking outside of the box.
"So, I've been trying to do some invisibility spells. I know how to do it to myself. It's not hard to apply magic to your own body but it's a little harder to do it to objects." Adam knew it had to do with focusing and how an object didn't have the same properties, nor did it have actual magic itself.
