Who: Adam and Davina What: Adam needs some help with his cloaking spells When: Today, afternoonish Where: Crow Haven Corner Warnings: Nah
Adam had been in Crow Haven Corner a number of times. He knew that Davina worked there as he was an acquaintance of hers. While they hadn't spoken in some time Adam knew that Davina was a witch. She knew things about magic and spells. Adam needed some help with his cloaking charms. He had put his practicing on hold for a bit but now Adam was eager to get back to it. He needed some ingredients and also some advice on scaling, whether to start off small or see if Adam could cloak larger things and see how much time and energy it would take.
He knew that Davina was working as a clerk so he waited to bit, wanting for her to be done with her customers before he actually said anything. He didn't want to be a bother and knew that he could come back if she thought there could be a better time for them to discuss such things. Then again, Adam was a paying customer so it wasn't like he was bothering Davina. Buying things was a good excuse.
It only took Adam a few minutes to get some of the things he wanted. He needed candles to create a zone and he also bought some crystals to enchant. They seemed like a good start in terms of size. Adam knew that he could make a coin disappear and reappear but that was just Adam using his basic magic and the coin didn't stay invisible for long.
"Hey, Davina," Adam greeted, smiling as he brought all of his stuff up to the counter. It was... a lot. Maybe a little too much but Adam just wanted to make sure that he had everything before leaving.
"I was wondering if maybe you had a second? Kind of want to bounce some ideas off you. I know you're talented when it comes to spells so I was hoping you could help me?" Adam didn't want to be blown off so he hoped that Davina wasn't extremely busy to take Adam off to the side for a bit and let someone else handle the register.
