"Stefan, it's nice to meet you in person." Alex smiled at him. She could be kind of awkward around people, she hoped that he wouldn't hold that against her. It was different to talk to someone on the network, than it was in person. She'd seemed pretty comfortable with it then, but meeting face to face was so different. Stefan seemed nice, but she still wasn't about to let her guard down. It was nothing personal, just who she was.
Alex had survived so much. And somehow she would survive all of this too. She was determined. And if they could get everyone else home, that was all the better. Something told Alex that it wouldn't be easy. This was just step one. But at least it was something. Whether ot not it would work was hard to say. But it was worth a shot.
"So what are you thinking?" Alex asked. "I mean, we could blow something up." She suggested. "That would get a lot of attention. Maybe a statue or a fountain?" She wanted to make sure no one was around to get hurt, and a building was too big. Too many unknown factors, and too much of a risk that someone might be inside. That was a chance Alex wouldn't take, and she hoped Stefan was on the same page.
"We can get the material from a hardware store since I doubt anyone has left C4 lying around anywhere. You sure you want to do this?" Alex was here on her own, but Stefan might have someone he cared about with him. This was a risk and they might piss their captors off. She had to make sure he was in it 100 percent before they proceeded.
