Oh, yes. Alison could see Dan's soon to be ex-wife staring at them from over Dan's shoulder. She smirked coyly and took a sip from her straw. She wasn't aware of Emily's presence yet so she hadn't arrived at angry yet. Though she would before the night was over.
Tonight they had a target and it was Aria but as the most stable of all the liars, Ali wasn't sure what to do to her. Tonight wasn't so much a date with Dan as it was about playing with Aria. Aria had been her favorite little liar as of late and that meant that A needed to start targeting her. Alison wanted to come up with something special for the tiny brunette but so far everything was evading her. Her relationship was by far the most solid of all the liars no matter which way Ali looked at it. She knew that Aria would be here tonight and so would A.
Ali liked the distraction of it all. She had never been much of a drinker which made parties still tolerable. She was too much of a control freak for copious amounts of alcohol. That was more Emily and Hanna's thing. She liked the spectacle of Serena and her loser friends looking at them. She grabbed Dan by the back of his neck and kissed him, long and hard. When she pulled away from him, she grinned wickedly.
"I just love an audience," she said. Why hide it? Alison was in love with Emily. She couldn't deny how intense her very pure feelings were for her most loyal of friends. But Ali couldn't be herself in front of Emily. Emily was too good, too pure. Emily couldn't understand the real Ali even though she thought she loved her. Dan understood and saw the real Alison and he didn't flinch or turn away. He was filled with hate and resentment too. They recognized one another as kindred.
Gossip Girl was an intriguing idea. Alison had read snippets of it in Dan's little tell all Inside. A was far more sinister but Gossip Girl was so public. Ali wasn't sure which was worse and so it only made sense that they should combine their forces.
