Well, if there was one thing Julian recognized, it was the signals of a breakdown. Livvy had always been best at calming Ty down, but Julian had been learning through trial and error. Sometimes he figured out tricks just by sheer luck, like Ty's fidget toys. Sometimes he fell flat on his face with the so many times Julian lost his temper.
He noticed the sudden onslaught of greenery of course, plants breaking out of the frozen ground, limbs stretching and growing, it was pretty obvious, but Julian stood his ground, looking at Klara with as calm an expression as he could muster. "I know some warlocks, they're family friends. My sister and my brother are part Fae, so the last thing I'm going to do is turn anyone in. It's okay."
This girl was clearly terrified and hey, rightfully so. He took a step back to give her more space. "You should defend yourself. Absolutely you should. Don't let anyone take you anywhere you don't want to go. That's just good advice in general," he added, ever the big brother.
