who ty and thea what hiding where the beach when near dark rating/status feels and open
Nothing really seemed real at the moment. The fact he had slipped out of the house without a word seemed like a dream. The fact he somehow ended up on the beach with a coat on? Also not real. He still drew a heat rune on his wrist to make up for the cold that was trying to seep into his bones.
Mark was gone.
Mark was gone.
Ty picked up a stone and hurled it into the waters. That action did nothing to calm the chaos in his brain. It wasn't fair! They had been without Mark for so many years because the Clave were a bunch of jerks. He had barely gotten his older brother back before being ripped to Salem. At first, well, it had just been him and then Mark and Julian followed. Raziel, he had never been so happy to see his brothers, but now? Now Mark was gone. Julian remained and he loved Julian more than he loves bees, but that didn't stop the horrid feeling that was trying to kill his chest cavity.
Another stone hurled at the water.
Nothing felt better.
He kicked the sand and watched it crackle slightly before spewing out around him. Nothing was helping his mood. Finally, after a sound of pure annoyance, he let himself sink to his knees in the sand. His gray eyes took in the water that seemed as dark as his mood. Why had this place yanked Mark from him and Julian? Why had it felt the need to barf up everyone from Alec's life instead? How was that fair? How was a trade like that fair?
Okay. He knew it wasn't Alec's fault, but it felt like all those people had arrived and he had lost his brother. He didn't want to be in that house, around any of them at the moment. No, he wanted to be alone.
