With the stress of the meteor hitting near him, Hanna being affected, and him rushing to develop a cure with Tony, paired with Tony being kidnapped and injured, well, it was time to let the other guy out. He'd wanted to go destroy where Tony had been held but he'd been rebuffed from his suggested. So, going to the forest and letting the other guy stretch his legs a bit seemed like the best option. It at least meant that he'd not feel the buzzing under his skin, the urge to do something that he couldn't give into in town.
Bruce had decided to skip out of work early, it wasn't that big of a deal at the moment he was a bit between experiments that needed babysitting. So he'd slipped off to the forest and walked over to the pond. Folding his clothes carefully on a rock that was a few feet from the water's edge, he'd transformed. Choosing to do so, in a low stress setting, meant he had control over this. He tried to convince the other guy not to actually destroy anything but to just enjoy the water which he was fond of and leap about a bit.
Hulk had been happily roaring, swimming and jumping about in the water for a solid hour. It was good to be free. He liked coming out and moving about without anyone to fight. Even though fighting was good. He had been enjoying himself thoroughly when suddenly he heard a branch snap. Sniffing the air, he looked around and spotted a young girl crawling on the ground. She had things with her, but she was not any of the Avengers that he knew or, when she looked up at him, not someone Banner knew either.
Frowning, he stopped where he was and stared. Tilting his head, he said loudly the only setting his voice seemed to do, "Who you? Fight Hulk?"
