"I bought the base toy at a toy store," Danny powered his phone down and couldn't help sighing in relief when the sound stopped. Well, shit, he was down to like ten percent battery now. Either he was out of practice or his program had been way more draining then he thought. Nothing really was going his way this day. "The modified motherboard I bought second hand, guy gave me a real good deal."
His lips quirked to the side faintly as he began to wonder if the reason he got such a good deal was because the motherboard was haunted. Was that even possible? "I didn't have any problems until it decided it really hates you, dude."
Never in his life had he ever actually seen a ghost. Danny's eyes went wide as Kol's spell actually made some sort of spirit appear. His murderbot was a teenage ghost? "Shit," he breathed out. His fingers went to toy at the leather bracelet one his wrist in a sort of grounding action. Werewolves were one thing, but this? This was entirely new. While it was kind of terrifying it was also super interesting. Nothing he had read had prepared him for this, but he was clearly in his element.
"What?" Danny had no fucking clue what to toss into the circle.
Wait, no, that wasn't true. In the books he read people trapped spirits in some sort of vessel. An amulet would work, but he didn't wear anything like that. His gaze started taking in the hotel room around them. If he threw a vase in then there was a pretty big chance it would just shatter. Damn, what was he supposed to do? Depending what he threw in the circle would depend on how easy it would be to get rid of the spirit for good.
He patted his pockets and came up empty handed. His gaze went to his broken tablet, but quickly dismissed that. Suddenly an idea hit him and he bolted into the kitchen. Yes, perfect! Danny grabbed a tin of cookies off the counter and promptly dumped the cookies out. He tossed the container, lid and all, straight into the circle. That was no Pandora's Box, but it was the best he could come up with on such short notice.
