"I bought the toy at the store and then modified the chip processor, motherboard, and command system," Danny rubbed his hand against his pant leg. Man, that tablet had almost burned him. He could steal feel the heat lingering on his flesh. This was not how this evening was supposed to go!
"Huh?" He looked up at the other dude and shrugged. "I got one large ping of power before it just kind of ran off on its own. All the stupid data was on the tablet and I am going to have to try and retrieve it. This is going to take fucking forever-"
Holy shit! He had created a monster bot! Danny could only stare in horror as the toy robot actually attacked the other person. Then things got even weirder. How had the dude made the robot move like that? He hadn't noticed hands yanking the bot off, no, the robot just went flying into the road. His gaze followed the line the person was pointing.
Danny couldn't help wincing as a car ran over all his hard work. "Damn," he looked quick for more cars before bolting out to pick up the motherboard. Damaged, but not totally destroyed. He frowned as he stepped back onto the sidewalk. "Man...back to square one. I just wanted to be helpful," he muttered slightly. How was he supposed to help find the witches if he couldn't even program a robot right? Though, to be fair, he was pretty sure he hadn't slammed a soul or something into the thing. That was all on the robot toy and Salem.
"My theory was that if I found a big enough source of power I might find out where the witches in control of this place are hiding." He turned the damaged motherboard in his fingers before letting out a slightly defeated sigh.
