The day was falling into a routine. Read a page, eat a mouthful of delicious food, rinse and repeat. That was until he heard a low whistle and found himself looking up at a blast from the past. Now if Danny had paid attention to the network he might have noticed the arrival of Allison's doppelganger, but he hadn't. So in this moment he was completely caught off guard by a very basic looking Allison standing in front of him. The fork fell from his fingers onto the plate as he stared in surprise.
"Allison?"
The name was out of his mouth before he could stop himself. No, that couldn't be his friend. Surely the pack would have been beyond excited if Allison was back in Salem. Plus, there was something a little different about the girl in front of him.
"Sorry, sure. Sit down. You look a lot like my friend and it caught me off guard." He carefully shut his book, already remembering the page number, and glanced at the strange girl. "I'm Danny."
Did the pack know an Allison lookalike was around? Probably. He wasn't going to put him not knowing as them keeping information from him. No, this was on him for not paying attention to things lately. He and Erica had already exchanged words because he had been focusing more on school then the 'problem's going on. He wasn't part of the inner circle so he had fallen back to what he was used to- being smart. School was something he understood and something he was very good at. So what if he had reverted to something he knew when things went strange?
"Hey, did you just arrive?" He so wanted to blurt out that this was weird, but he managed to keep his normal friendly demeanor in place. "Also, that food you are getting to go is going to congeal and not be as awesome. Gravy does that weird plastic thing, just a head's up." He raised his coffee mug up in a slight salute before taking a large swig of his drink. Caffeine was one of the few things that seemed to be good in any reality.
