Faith could drink and dance but most of Cordy's drinks were lost on Faith. It took forever for her to get drunk and frankly, Cordy didn't need Faith to get drunk to dance and hook up and have a good time. She got drunk with Buffy because that was a weird night filled with stupid decisions. Like most of Faith's choices around Buffy, they were filled up with lots of noise that always got in the way.
She was in the middle of the dance floor now, shaking her hips, hands in the air and dancing the way dancing was supposed to be. It wasn't supposed to be such a poised seduction, the way she danced at The Golden Banana. Dancing was wild, like fucking, like fighting and that was the way that Faith liked to do it. Sure, in the end, it was always a tease but here in this club, Faith wasn't teasing Cordelia. She planned to deliver.
There was a way about Faith that tended to draw attention, especially when she let herself go when it came to dancing. It was partly why she was so damn successful at work. But when you added Cordelia to the mix, all eyes were on the two of them. Some persistent guys tried to dance in the middle of them but Faith kept shoving them out of the way and since Cordy didn't complain, she kept doing it.
Finally, one guy was persistent enough that it really pissed Faith off and she full on punched him in the face. It created a stir on the dance floor and Faith saw security coming towards them. She grabbed Cordelia's hand and pulled her through the crowded club so that they wouldn't be the ones getting thrown out.
Faith laughed as she pulled Cordelia into a dark corner so they could watch security deal with the drunk idiot that Faith had punched in the face. Faith brushed some of Cordy's hair away from her neck and kissed her lightly.
