Cordelia didn't want to deal with it even though it was slapping her in the face each time she thought about him. The Powers That Be, however the hell they managed to slip her visions, didn't much care when it came to Angelus who was no longer their champion. How could he be when he was soulless? The fighting the good fight was no longer in his criteria. Cordy wondered if that was the reason why she never received visions of Angelus. Why change someone's future if they weren't going to have one?
It bothered her more than she cared to admit. The whole reason why Cordelia got into business with Angel was because she believed in his cause (and she really needed the money). They spent years together and Cordelia missed it all, she missed Wesley and Fred, she missed her apartment, hell, she even missed her ghost.
Faith was a part of that -- she tried to get help but ended up going to jail anyway. Cordelia understood where Angel was coming from and in some ways she wanted to continue that, to help Faith when she needed it or at least when Faith allowed it. Just like Faith was the first person she called when she needed help Cordelia wanted to be the first person in Faith's life.
"Oh, I guess we're dancing," Cordelia said, telling the bartender who was just about to hand Cordy her margarita. "Hold that that, bar guy. We'll be back." Slipping out of her seat, Cordy followed Faith out to the dance floor. The music drummed loudly and the song was actually a good one. It didn't take long for Cordelia to move her hips to the beat of it.
