"Yeah, actually. My best friend Lydia is a party planner. Not professionally or anything but she might as well be. She'll know what to do and where to go. I meant to invite her to this. I can still text her thought if it's not too late."
Allison smiled at Alex from across the table and without waiting for permission, she texted Lydia. She should have done this from the beginning. Allison was extremely busy in Salem. Not only with her responsibilities with the coven but also her day job as a shooting instructor and dealing with all of the people that had shown up and needed her attention. She had a chance to go shopping with Lydia and to have a real date with Isaac but she need to reconnect with her dad too.
She shot Lydia a text message quickly, just telling her that she needed help planning a party and if she was free, to come to her room and help her and Alex brainstorm.
"I think we can get O'Neills for less than fifteen hundred," Allison said once she put her phone done. "We'll have a little bit left over after that to pay for decorations and pay off the DJ. O'Neills may even throw in their DJ if we're really nice about it. How convincing can you be?" Allison asked. She used to be a lot friendlier when she was alive back at home but death had turned Allison cold in many ways. She wondered if her friends had noticed.
"As for getting someone to donate food, I'm not sure on that yet. Maybe Steve's would do it?"
Allison was inclined to think not considering how crappy Steve's was and everyone knew it, including Steve. She had seen people complain on the network about working there and the quality of goods. It wasn't Allison's favorite place but groceries were groceries.
"Then that leaves alcohol. Unless I missed something else."
