"Water's fine," Alex said. She drank a lot of water as a habit anyway. It helped keep her hydrated throughout her routine. And she wasn't picky about what she drank anyway, so long as it wasn't alcohol. Allison looked a little young to be drinking too, but she was not going to judge her if she did. Alex was doing far worse than drinking when she was even younger. It hadn't really been her choice, but she wouldn't judge someone for theirs.
She walked into the room and took a look around. It looked very similar to her room, and every other room here, she imagined. She set the food down on the table. She was happy to share dinner with a potential new friend. She wanted to like Allison, she wanted to be able to trust her. Maybe this would help them to get there since she was fairly certain that Allison didn't trust her either.
She opened up the water bottle and took a sip. It was nice and cold, just the way that she liked it. She didn't have a whole lot of party planning experience either, but it couldn't be that hard. They probably just needed a few key things.'
"So I guess we'll need music, food, drinks that sort of thing?" Alex suggested. She didn't think they'd need to play games or anything like that unless people wanted to. She was more used to fancy parties, but this was going to be a casual thing. People could get to know each other since they were all stuck here together.
"And if there is anyone else you think can help us with this, that'd be great too."
