Allison had been home for a few minutes. Long enough to change into a comfortable pair of yoga pants and a long shirt. Her curls hung loose around her shoulders as she picked up the place a little bit. Neither she nor Alicia were particularly messy but they weren't particularly neat either.
She wasn't exactly looking forward to planning a party. It wasn't what she had in mind but doing this job wasn't what she had in mind either. She hadn't asked for this, hadn't wanted it. But she had mixed feelings because it might be the only reason she continued to exist. That and she had a deep need to protect people and while she couldn't fight the witches, she could sometimes find ways to manipulate and outsmart them. It was something she hadn't been able to quite articulate to Alex and Stefan yet.
Allison answered the door and smiled at Alex. She didn't know very much about her but she was already getting along with her better. That was because she wasn't a vampire. It wasn't like she was holding a stake to Stefan's heart or anything but she couldn't turn a blind eye or be complacent about some of the things she had witnessed around town. What Angelus had done to Hanna was horrific and she was lucky that Allison happened to be around when she did. Allison didn't want that happening to anyone else.
"Come on in. Do you want something to drink? I pretty much just have water."
She recalled that Alex didn't drink. Allison didn't drink very much herself unless she was at a party or something, but even then it was minimal. She grabbed a couple of bottles of water out of the fridge and handed one to Alex since she had brought the food. Allison went digging around in a drawer for silverware so they could eat. She hoped Alex had an idea of what she wanted because Allison wasn't really the party planner. She should have invited Lydia for this.
