"Yeah, sure. We should meet up, maybe after you guys meet the witches. I mean, you haven't yet." Which Allison thought was bizarre. She had met with them almost immediately upon her arrival here in Salem. But Allison's arrival had been different. Back then the arrivals were all ghosts. They were the ghost hotel, some people joked. They were all dead.
Allison wasn't so sure that Stefan would come. When she had talked to him he hadn't been very receptive to the idea but they weren't exactly best friends. Maybe Alex would have better luck in persuading him. It did seem that Alex was meant to keep the peace in this hapless trio. Regardless of Alex's extensive ability to mediate, Allison knew that she and Stefan would have to find some kind of common ground eventually. She would worry about that later.
She couldn't help but crack a soft smile when Lydia referred to Stefan as "Steve". Only Lydia's brand of accidental humor could distract Allison from her troubles. Maybe that was why she had decided that Lydia was good best friend material. Though Lydia's fashion sense was impeccable, it was hardly the reason that Allison loved her so much.
"That sounds good to me," Allison said. "I'll call O'Neills tomorrow afternoon and set something up, see how much they'll give us." She smiled at Alex.
"I know you and Stefan are close. I don't have a problem with him if he feeds from animals like he says he does. But I had to be honest with him, like he was honest with me about being a vampire. I hope you can understand."
