He took as much of the pain as he could or should if she wanted to try and heal up her palms. They weren't incredibly bad but if she wasn't healing them already she might want to at least clean them off. He moved his hand from putting that invisible barrier between them to picking out some of the crushed leaved from her hand as he used the other to turn it over and look while she was still somewhat quiet.
Her gaze lifted, and then so did his. He'd stepped in closer but not invading her space just at the moment. "I have no reason to lie to you, Kira. I don't need a spell to make me do that." He sighed lightly and looked back down at her hand picking a few other twigs and suck from around the cut but her words were sinking in and it was obvious. There was a confused and strained look on his face before he looked back up to her again. He wanted to smile a little when she showed concern about whether or not he'd ever be coming back.
"Yeah. I care about you, Kira....and I'd die for you again if I had to. To keep you safe, to protect you from this place." Once her one hand looked like it was at least rid of most of the debris he'd focus completely on her eyes, watching as they still glowed and wavered in how intense they were.
"Dying for you, Kira, shouldn't be what makes you feel one way or the other about me. It's how you feel now, and after all of this. It's how you felt before that, or when I came back. " He was almost scared to ask if she still felt the same when he wasn't around. "I'm not going to get in between you and your pack, but I want to know." His eyes cast down for a brief moment. He wanted to run, he wanted to do something to get rid of the nerves and all the adrenaline in his veins. "How do you feel?"
