"I'm not sure. I have to try it on," Hope said, rather sensibly back to Toph. She really didn't know what to think of the clothing that Jenny had picked out for her. She could see that Jenny dressed a little different than Mona did but their sharp edges were almost exactly the same. That had to be a good sign.
Jenny went around and started collecting all different kinds of things. These were clearly two girls who didn't know their own sense of style which meant they had to experiment to figure it out. Jenny would help them as much as she could but ultimately, they had to decide what they liked. She wasn't sure how the blind one would figure that out but fashoin was a tactile pleasure, not just one for the eyes.
She grabbed pants in different pants in colors and materials for both girls, along with shirts, blouses and a few dresses and skirts just in case. If they liked to move around freely, dresses were actually their best bet.
Jenny was pleased to see that Hope was walking out of the dressing room as she approached with an armload of clothes. She could afford to take a break from designing to help these two poor lost fashionless souls. Jenny liked helping people feel good.
Hope was wearing a bell sleeved pink dress. It was probably a little too bohemian for her but Jenny figured it couldn't hurt to try on something different.
"Whoa," Hope said when she looked into the mirror. But then she made a face. "I don't if this one is me but I like the feeling of it. It's soft."
Jenny smiled and handed her a green silk blouse and a pair of skinny jeans. She figured it would at least be closer to Hope's comfort zone. She seemed happy about the outfit as she disappeared back into the dressing room.
Jenny turned her attention to Toph.
"Okay. I brought lots of choices. What are you thinking?" she asked. "Something a little more lightweight than jeans, right?"
