Awkward introductions are awkward! *JAZZ HANDS*
So I've always been told to imagine my audience is in their underwear to make myself more comfortable - soooo, happy to see all of you put on clean whities this morn. I'm Erin. I'm a little rusty when it comes to RP, I've been out of the loop for a bit but I may recognize some off you. To those I don't, hi! Very happy to be here. I'm on UTC+0 so my hours are a little weird, but I'm always available via Gmail and AIM, and I really try to reply/tag back within 12 hours, tops.
Ok so my char; this is Virginia Blackfoot. Just 'Gin, Ginny or Vi,' please. She's a Phoenix, roughly 440 years old, from a First Nation Cowichan tribe out of the present-day Vancouver area. She's the Dance and Music teacher! Dance class, yo!
--- Favorite students, natural talents she's taken under her wing, problem pupils, etc. She secretly loves them all.
--- Defined relationships (friendships, professional respect, restrained head butting) with other staff.
--- She may have bonded with some other immortals. Yay! (Plays "Who wants to live forever")
--- Bonds with mortals and short-lived races will be bittersweet for her, which I'm 110% on board for. She's got a semi-spiky exterior but is actually a big buttery softy, so this isn't farfetched.
--- She has a daughter out in the world somewhere, whom she was separated from 150 years ago and has been trying to find since. Is your character worldly? Have they heard rumor, seen something, heard talk from their brother's best friend's sister's cousin's baby daddy? Gin wants to hear. And accepts help from anywhere.
--- Someone well trusted was her Ash Keeper for the last 10 months. Someone on the staff. Was it your character? This could be a new insta-line if you're willing to talk details with me. :) Maybe something odd happened with the Otherworlder attack this week that woke her up early and effected your character, too? Who knows! Let's play!
--- Lastly. She woke up really abruptly, and she had a little bit of an issue with mild dementia at the end of her last life. So she's still a little forgetful right now. She may have forgotten student's names, details of relationships with colleagues, etc. Happy to play with all the fun nonsense that could come out of that.
--- Anything. And everything else. I'm happy to have at it!
Looking forward to writing with you all. Loving what I've seen so far!
