It was Sunday, which was oddly fitting for a resurrection. If they'd waited a few weeks, they could have done this on Easter. But Noah wasn't about to put his daughter through more pain and waiting just for the sake of religious significance. It had been almost too easy, he thought to himself, bringing back someone who had been dead for months. Dr. Suresh had put Nathan on an IV of Claire's blood so that he wouldn't die of from lack of blood once Ned reanimated him, and they'd dressed him and put him in a makeshift hospital bed to minimize the awkwardness, then he'd left so that Noah could keep his promise to the man that nobody else would know who was bringing Nathan back. Once Ned had touched Nathan and brought him back, Noah had led him out of the building quickly, before he could get cold feet and touch Nathan again to undo his work.
They'd left the building quickly and, thankfully, had not died when the minute was up. The zombie locked in the room next to Nathan's body was not so lucky. He'd have to remember to get the body removed later. Noah had let Ned go on his way, and made his way up to Nathan, sending Claire a quick message as he did. He hadn't wanted her there until Nathan was back, not trusting that she wouldn't do something stupid like stay with him and keel over dead when the minute was up. Mohinder and Billy would be up soon enough, but for now he wanted to handle keeping Nathan calm. As he walked into the room, he was unsurprised to see Nathan sitting up and looking relatively fine. If shocked and confused was fine. The point was, he looked much less dead. And that had been what they were aiming for. "Hello, Senator," he said calmly. "How are you feeling?"
