*with your noodley physique, you're easily able to swarm your way up the mat of fur; the shadow follows behind you, not quite so skillfully but certainly capable. You reach the knee joint as the colossus leans forward to take a step and, hanging from the fur by one hand, drive your blade to the hilt in the colossus's flesh.
The tremendous creature bellows in pain, a roar that vibrates deep in your bones and sets grains of sand dancing over the ground for as far as you can see. With majestic slowness, its leg folds under it, bringing it to one knee. You find yourself and your shadow lying flat, with the surface you were clinging to parallel to the ground below.
You've dealt the creature a painful wound, but it's not a mortal one. Light flashes from the bloody blade of your sword, illuminating the flat crown of the monster's head. Above you, on the upper thigh, there's another mat of fur that you could reach if you jumped.*
