It's a bit complicated. Onaklai and constructs don't have a genetic sex, like humans do. [pause] That means we're not born male or female or ooloi, but we become it at adulthood, based on what sex we wish to become. Though my ooan shaped me to favor becoming male pretty strongly.

Yesterday, the... event changed my sex from male to ooloi. Ooloi are... what I had to learn to do with healing, they do naturally when they become sub-adults. And more: they create children from their male and female mates as adults, they can create new animals and plants, change defects in people or animals. My body thought it should be male, so it tried to make itself male again. Even an ooloi couldn't do that, but my body did try.

	I don't think there was. My body changed sex by the magic, and it tried to change back via its own abilities, which left me feeling very tired and ill. Having other males around might have pushed it back towards male more, which wasn't helpful. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
