Ah, I see. Merry's wounds didn't completely heal from that either. (Honestly, if you're going to have the gall to murder people, you should at least heal them completely if they're going to just get murdered again. Ugh, Judges.)

Guess between that and Ikki's encounter, it is pretty hard to get out and about. Uh, not that I didn't believe you before or anything! Sort of.

The problem with that being he's got too much of a barrier to believe someone when they say he isn't, unless something drastic is happening. The same goes for his views on other people. He'll probably continue thinking Quartz and I are horrible monster loving traitors, and that's fine. He's young, he'll grow out of it.

After Pavo's first bad game, we made a promise to each other . . . that we wouldn't change the kind of people we were just because the judges wanted us to.

I think . . . that people like me, and that people like Claude and you exist . . . that's really hard for him. The only thing that keeps him okay is knowing that he's done what he 'had' to . . . but we had the same choices, chose different things . . . and we're all okay.

Mm. . .it's possible. The only logical conclusion to come to after that would be to think we're the ones messed up in the head.

I know a lot has happened to him--way more than I probably know of, even. I don't care about changing his mind at this point, but, hmm. I wish I could just talk to him a bit, to see if he's at least settled down some. If it's more likely to just agitate him, there's no point.
