Not until I tried testing it.

How'd the test go?

Nothing. Not a thing. I don't know if that's because I wasn't close enough, or because it wasn't compatible with my magic, or because I never tried using the keystone before, or because it just plain doesn't work.

I'm going to have to try Veiled's, too. If I get the same result, at least I can narrow down the reason.

It might've been that he was too weak too . . . He looked like complete shit in the game he just ran.

Like we need more variables to worry about.

That one raises an unpleasant question, too: what happens if we weaken King first and then take him out? Is there such a thing as even King becoming so weak that granting our wishes becomes impossible?

[Presses that arm in tighter and sits down. :/]

The bigger problem is how the hell are we going to deal with whatever power surge we get hit with when we break King's? Or Queen's for that matter . . . Kid was a fucking weakling compared to them.

Whoever breaks it will have to have a cloak on. It probably won't deflect it all, but it might help enough to keep the person from being overwhelmed.

[tail lash :U]

. . . I don't. Only that they should be the absolute last unless we've really got no other choice.

That I can agree with- especially for King. We don't know what will happen to this place when he's destroyed.
