[he keeps walking for a few moments, thinking about what to do. If this was Mitsuru, he would have already called his attention in some way. If this was Harmony, or even the creepy new guy or Grace-- they would have called his name or answered when he called out earlier.

He stops walking and he turns around, and as he does, he throws the knife with the intention of hitting whatever it is that is following him.]

At a stretch you could call them little girls, but with their button eyes they’re more like dolls. There are knives and forks in their hands, hands that don’t even have fingers but hold them anyway, and they’re moving closer, those button eyes leering at you as they laugh.]

[The doors slam shut behind you; the corridor lights up, showing the jewel encrusted cave walls again. There are no iron gates this time, but the giant pearls seem to have something moving inside. Images that can barely be made out through a fog; on one side is Grace, so much younger and playing happily with her parents. On the other side, a scene of carnage. Grace is telling the story to a girl with red hair, but you can’t make out the voices easily.]
