This is gonna require a lot of focus. You need to pay attention to what your body is doing, every step of the way.

[Putting her hands together, the green energy forming along her finger tips before forming an actual ball in her hands after a few long seconds.]

Try and feel how the energy is going. Where is it coming from, which part of your arm is it flowing through, where is it coming out with your skin. It doesn't need to be strong, something weak will do, but you need to pay attention to how that energy is flowing and hold the path it takes from beginning to end in your head.

Then you're going to pull it back. You keep that path in mind and you focus on the energy going back the way it came, back to where it is when it's not being used.

That's not the point of this.

The point of this is for the blasts that don't need to be USED. Sometimes a threat can go a very long way. Sometimes someone surrenders and you don't need to use the blast. There can be a lot of ways to fight that doesn't ever involve laying a hand on the opponent, just showing that the power exists.

Being able to reabsorb the energy that doesn't need to be used is part of making sure energy isn't wasted, which is the point of these exercises. More than that, being able to do this also gives you better control of the amount of energy you use. So you can avoid overkill and over use.

[Flat look.] I am aware of that. I know sometimes you have to fight. That's why this isn't the only trick I'll be showing you.

The point is to make sure you ARE efficient and RESTRAINED enough in a battle that you can safely use a set amount of energy you get before hand so it doesn't come to that.

That's why we're focusing on the solution instead of the problem. You can't get anywhere if you just think about the cons and not the solutions to avoid those cons.

Don't give me that look. You can learn restraint. I'm an emotional thirteen year old half ghost and I learned it.

We'll get more into other restraint techniques a bit later, but that's why we're doing the more obvious things like saving blasts when it's obvious you can save them. If you can't be restrained in battle, at least you can do the obvious big power savers until we get those down.

For right now, practice that until you feel you can do it without needing to be hyper focused on it.
