Who: Those invited
Where: Lyvus
When: Day 286, around noon (before the ideal world game)
What: Meeting!

[Sometime between late morning and early afternoon, people are coming over to Lyvus. They'll even feed you if you brought something to trade—there's certainly nice tea and lunch set out :) the main area of Lyvus is pretty big, and there is a long table that can easily sit at least 15-20 people, though it may start to get crowded after that, and some of the chairs are makeshift]

[There may also be some Lyvus/Monoceros makeshift scrabble games going on around lunch. This is clearly the most serious kidnapping.]

[OOCly I have no idea who is actually coming to the meeting and/or knows about it, but I think we are able to roll with bbbasically anything! Join #partyatlyvus so we can keep the blah blah in one place, and we can facilitate any necessary behind the scenes business o7]

[s-sighs]

I respect you too much to defend her and make you angry, so I'll leave it at that.

If we don't talk about it now, we're going to have to later. The problem won't go away if we keep ignoring it.

. . .

Mirror is a terrible, horrible person that's done terrible, horrible things. But they have never been permanent. Mirror is also someone who's protect my team, and, while alarming at the time, took Quartz to her realm to prevent the earth from taking him. She's also a friend to Lepus and Feathers, and genuinely cares about anyone who gives her the time of day. She not only thrives on hate and fear from the blanks, but also love and companionship, not unlike how we humans do.

Of all the Judges I've met, she's the most human, even if she's artificial.

But she is artificial, and more importantly: she is a judge.

But fine. If you're arguing her humanity, I'll ask you this. Would you want a person who had done what she's done to walk free?

Of course not. You know I'm a defense attorney--for every person I prove innocent, another is guilty and probably gets the death penalty.

But this world doesn't apply to that logic. Everyone she's killed is still alive. Every twist she's made in our minds can be repaired. Honestly, by this logic, we all should be thrown in jail by now.

Again, I'll say I don't condone anything she's done. We've spent a lot of time lecturing her. I'm not going to belittle everyone's feelings either. I'm just not going to have a hand in killing her.

We should be in jail? We're not the ones who orchestrated it for dinner and entertainment.

I'm not asking you to have a hand in killing her. I'm saying that you'd better stand aside so that the people who are willing get the chance.

[surrendering motion]

We still made our choices, Ashikawa.

If I were going to do more than stand aside, I would be. If you do manage to kill her, she brought it on herself.

I know the choices I've made. And I'm willing to make this one, too.
