Who: Those invited
Where: Lyvus
When: Day 286, around noon (before the ideal world game)
What: Meeting!

[Sometime between late morning and early afternoon, people are coming over to Lyvus. They'll even feed you if you brought something to trade—there's certainly nice tea and lunch set out :) the main area of Lyvus is pretty big, and there is a long table that can easily sit at least 15-20 people, though it may start to get crowded after that, and some of the chairs are makeshift]

[There may also be some Lyvus/Monoceros makeshift scrabble games going on around lunch. This is clearly the most serious kidnapping.]

[OOCly I have no idea who is actually coming to the meeting and/or knows about it, but I think we are able to roll with bbbasically anything! Join #partyatlyvus so we can keep the blah blah in one place, and we can facilitate any necessary behind the scenes business o7]

Ah. . .it's still weird, but that doesn't seem so bad. I can consider, though honestly, I want to confirm why any information needs to be hidden. As I said, Mirror doesn't care, and would probably point and laugh while another Judge got the axe.

Personally, I'm of the opinion that this is more a failsafe against Ophiuchus and King than Mirror. Since someone was rather blatantly indiscreet, it could well be that someone other than her might have been paying attention. I plan to offer this generally to anyone who feels the need; I've already put it in place on a few members of Delphinus.

So. . .basically, you're trusting us to trigger it at appropriate times, even with our stance on Mirror. Hell, we may not have to even use it at all.

Let me talk with Quartz first?

You're not exactly the only one in this room with a dangerous patron. It seems more than a bit hypocritical to judge you solely based on that association, when you haven't otherwise given us reason for distrust.

*nods*

I doubt anything will be settled for a while; take whatever time you need. Understand, though, that I might not be able to guarantee that certain of the more vehement members of this meeting will accept my solution.

H-haha, yes, I know. But it's good to know it's there as an option. Thanks.

Jace wants to put a temporary voluntary trigger in my mind, that I can activate to seal off information as I see fit.

. . .

Also apparently they are going to try to break Mirror, which is nothing new, aside from the fact that I guess they are trying to right now.

. . . how safe is it? Not that I'm doubting Jace's power, but . . .

. . . [snort] Is that so.

From the sounds of it, it seems like I'll have completely control over when it happens. It's still strange though.

Yeeeeaah. . .[And if you want to eavesdrop]

There's talk of getting a seal from an nondescript Judge as well. . .

[glancing at . . .]

(Is it worth the risk, asking her. . .would the others even agree?)

She'd notice anything, I think, though they're saying this seal is untraceable. . .

(Ah--wait a second. Jeeze, I really miss Almaz.)

[KER-WHISPER]

Do you think she would? Help them, I mean.

Do they have proof of that? I don't want us getting in trouble with her.

(Sorry I'm not Almaz.)

. . . I . . . couldn't say? She may consider it if it benefited her in some way.

I'll have to design it so that it activates in response to any probe of the mechanism or the memories it guards, and it'll act fast to prevent anything from stopping it.

Unlikely, at least. They might see it trigger, but they won't get their hands on what it's protecting.
