[This was once a nice room, perhaps someone’s study, but it looks like it has been through a fight, perhaps during a windstorm. The right wall is lined with bookshelves, but someone had knocked most of the books to the floor. The left wall had things hanging on it but they are on the floor as well -- paintings torn and frames broken, wands snapped, and a sword embedded in what was once a very comfortable armchair near the window taking up most of the far wall. Outside the window, you can see rain, and the view from an upper story. White mist covers the ground.

[In the center of the room is a giant black feline -- a dzur, of the sort Honor transformed into from Mirror’s game -- trapped in a net of transparent fibers so fine that you can barely see them. Except for the fact the cat is clearly struggling against them, leaving bloody gashes in her skin, and blood and fur on the floor. One of Mirror’s glass spiders seem to be crawling among the net, checking the bindings. The sounds you heard outside are clearly coming from the cat’s struggles.

[The mirror teckla that led you in here drops the page it had been carrying, and goes to sit on top of the giant cat’s head, who makes an attempt to remove it with a swipe of her paw. This mostly serves to further cut her against the web. ]
