If we're talking symbolism, it could go either way. Rain is good, but it's generally seen as an annoyance to deal with in your every day life-- at least in my world.
I don't know how this is supposed to work, but her heart wasn't originally like this. We're here to fix what mirror did, after all. So the rain stopped could also be a hint to this being the right direction.
Personally, I think getting rid of the glass rats was a good decision. Being reflective is too easily associated with Mirror.
