[Looks at Claude again.] You're right. More than anything else, she wanted someone to be there. She was afraid, but she wanted people to come. Even despite my first awakening at the time.

But will you stay? You stay now, but you hardly have a choice. You can't even DECIDE.

[And then her eyes snap to Edward.] You were just trying to survive then. [And a strange smile appears on her face.] I hadn't realized there were better ways, just make them STAY and then it was all better.

[Chuckles.] Yes....it does. It hurts so much. But no one seems to want to survive, sometimes, it seems. Always dying, always leaving her there. Try and try and try and she can't even save those who are important to her. [And the laugh becomes a bit more manic.] It's kind of funny!
