[sighs, and then goes and pets your squeaky squishy squid head]

[The squidrat leans up into YOUR AFFECTION like a cat. A very squiddy cat.]

Hey Messenger, after all this, are you really up for just... accepting your dirt nap?

I bet some of the more affectionate Judges would want to stick around some way or another.

To be quite concise, the whole wanting to stick around schtick is why you're petting a squidrat in a bowl of soup at this very moment. While not exactly the most dissuasive of arguments it is where it stands.

Then again, that wasn't concise at all.

Very well, throwing concise to the wind.

What I AM doing isn't a very nice thing by most moral codes, that thing being genocide as a matter of reference, even though it's righting an even less nice thing. While life IS a smashing thing, we're in a very grand example of what happens when you push past where it should rightly end.

Would I care to continue on? Oh yes, I didn't live this long on a naturally suicidal mentality. But will I? Lets see this out with a little dignity.

[Quietly.] Yes, I do imagine so.

Am I allowed to ask how many cycles this has been?

It's a somewhat depressing subject, but there's very little left that's not allowed.

Thousands easily. It may not seem like much, but they have only become so short recently- in the past few centuries.
