Re: [Later]
Which is funny because they're the ones that the blanks feared most. Now that role's fallen to Surgeon's daughter Mirror...
Kokoli. The Masked One, the Laughing Liar, the Fool’s Fool, the Trickster. Not much is known about him. He just suddenly appears in the mythology and lore of Sabra La Tau. Beyond the memories of the past, I heard rumors that he was one of the ones who continued to drive the blanks via his murderous games. It's actually his games that got the blanks to plot and meet in secret more often than not.
He was killed... destroyed... during a game much like any of his other ones, from the sound of it. But the blanks went into it without as much fear because they somehow knew all of the tricks behind his game. The games of the Trickster always appeared to have something like that, a condition which lessened the damage done.
Corpus--Surgeon was different. He was balance. Despite the trauma and damage he has done to blanks, it doesn't appear to be without reason. He had assured Weaver that this group seemed to resonate the most--with the past I'm assuming. He would run his games and then penalize the losers by taking members of the teams and experimenting on them physically. I heard tale of a team getting penalized in such a way that there has only been one other case of someone breaking a rule of King's about throwing a game.
Lepus was Surgeon's team. They were patroned to him. His creature was that of the spider, giant ones that were always near and around the Pillar in the north. Coriander actually thought it would be amusing to invite someone like me to go up there alone, wasn't that mean of him?
Apparently Surgeon also destroyed the Pillar in the north, which is what contaminated the water in the East, caused the flooding which took many blanks and had King relocate them to the South. King told Ophiuchus around that time to not take orders from Surgeon, to not listen to him, to not heed him in any way.
Surgeon is also mentioned in the lore plenty. He and his twin sister Kolotha, the Weaver, came from the earth shortly after King came about.
